The Gems of the Earth Network (GOTENET), in partnership with the Loyola Center of Excellence in Telecenter Integration (LCETI), is inviting the Brazilian immigrant community, their relatives and friends to the Launching Event of the agenda of the organization. The meeting will occur this coming April, 9th, Saturday, at 2PM, at the Loyola College Graduate Campus in Columbia, Maryland, in conference room 210.

The objective is to present the work that Gems of the Earth has been doing in Brazil in the last 3 years, and to launch a campaign to gather support in the United States. We will be connecting live in Brazil with the rural communities of the pilot project, via Internet. There will also be presentations of videos with interviews and images of the communities, and the virtual environment we are creating to integrate the Brazilian rural communities with the immigrant community in the USA.

We appreciate your presence. Please RSVP by email (marco@gotenet.org) or by phone (202-276-8324). Seats are limited.
